Plate Armour
We carry a small stock of domestic and imported Platemail and can usually obtain other specific items that are outside of our normal range.
Our standard items are for LRP / theatrical use and are not suitable for re-enactment. We no longer make re-enactment plate armour but can put you in touch with craftsmen who do.
Most items are made out of mild steel and will rust if not properly protected. We recommend that on receipt, you give them a thorough cleaning and then either wax them with beeswax or spray them with a hard metal lacquer.
We can provide plate items electro-plated or powder coated in a variety of finishes, which takes approximately three weeks to do.
